St. Mary’s Tower, also known as the Watch Tower, Wake, Alarm or BugleTower. The only tower in the world at which a bugle has been playedevery hour for six hundred years for the four corners of the world.To see and to hear these wonders one must climb 239 steps, to a floor54 m above ground level. The trumpeter needs two and a half minutesto ascend the tower. Visitors do not need to hurry. Up at the top theywill be heartily greeted by bugle players – members of the fire service,the last magicians of Cracow…

The crypt with bodies of President Kaczynski and his wife died in a plane crash on 10th April 2010 , were opened for the public after the family and official members of the delegation left the Wawel Hill after funeral ceremony.President’s coffins were buried in the sarcophagus situated in ahead of crypt of Józef Piłsudski under Silver Bells Tower (Wieża Srebrnych Dzwonów). The sarcophagus was made of onyx characterized by the specific, crystalic structure, letting the light and more strong than alabaster. The simple form of rectangular prism of the following dimensions238 x 154 x 60 cm. On the upper plaque witch weight is 400 kg, was knocked out the cross. On the longest side the name of president couple were placed : Lech Aleksander Kaczyński, Maria Helena Mackiewicz Kaczyńska. The tomb of presidential couple is open to visiting on the Wawel crypt under Silver Bells every day from 9.00 to 19.30. Entrance free.

An attempt to read Islamic culture through the ornament. Accumulated around Islam in the western world, many controversies and stereotypes. In Poland, both this religion, and grown on her land culture, are still relatively little known. The exhibition in the Ethinigraphic Museum is an attempt to read Islamic culture through the ornament.

The fence encircling the construction site features an exhibition entitled The New Sukiennice (New Cloth Hall) – refurbishment and modernization of the 20th Century Polish Art Gallery in Krakow's Sukiennice, informing Krakow's residents and tourists about the work under way. The project includes 38 panels, which were reproductions of paintings, archival photographs describing the history of the Cloth Hall - the first seat of the National Museum in Krakow - from the creation of the Gallery at the moment and information about museum, its departments and galleries. A special place is allocated to the presentation of the project "New Cloth Hall" - in this section will be information boards about donors, visualization the facility after repair, and photographs showing the current state of the Prussian Homage Hall.

One of Krakow’s weirdest traditions, the annual Dachshund March (Marsz Jamników in Polish, with dozens of the iconic short-limbed dogs and their owners participating.For the 15th year now, dachshund lovers from all over Poland have gathered in Krakow to show off their best furry friends. While some come just for the experience, many go as far as dressing up their sausage dogs in all sorts of elaborate costumes – and some are rewarded for their efforts. This year’s winner of the costume contest featured a coarse-haired pup dressed up as an Egyptian pharaoh, royally escorted by his human companions, who donned Arabic dress and even had a soundtrack for his majesty’s entrance.
