Easter Fair takes place on the Main Square in Krakow. Fair is an annual event, held during the period preceding Easter. For the duration of the holiday bazaar stalls are issued. Products offered by buyers are primarily festive articles: decorations, baskets, palm trees, candles, blown, hand painted porcelain, jewelry, regional products (tablecloths holiday, braid), products from the mass of salt, flour, with hay, wood . For trade visitors and tourists there are prepared small gastronomy points proposing Old Polish cuisine, dumplings and oscypki, sweets as well as the draft of the "Hot Galician Wine " and "Mead”. The Fairs are accompanied by numerous events, including: demonstration of palm trees and Easter rituals. On Holy Saturday there is a demonstration of traditional regional Easter dishes.

Festival presents music associated with the period of Holy Week and Easter in the championship performances. Organizers are not limited solely to the authors associated with Catholicism, emphasizing the richness of religious music of various Christian denominations. Repertoire includes the most outstanding works of early music (Renaissance and Baroque). For two years its axis has become world premiere presentations of the Baroque oratorios. The festival is complemented with events as reconstructions of ancient Mysteries of the Passion and the realization of contemporary works to raise awareness of story of the Passion and Resurrection of Christ.The festival is highly rated by critics and attract the interest of the public. Within a few years gained a leading position in Poland and one of the most interesting events on the music map of Europe.

Annually on Easter Monday is traditionally a festival, without which you can not imagine Krakow - Emmaus. Many attractions await visitors and residents who choose this day to go to the indulgence of Salwator.
Emmaus is extending its the twelfth century tradition of indulgence. Once it was the people\'s game device to the memory of the Apostles the road to the village Emmaus. Stall-keepers spread out their stalls full of trinkets, pipes and sweets.Today it takes place on Kosciuszko and Senators Street next to the convent sisters of st. Norbert. On the stalls, next to traditional toys, handicrafts and sweets there is a lot of modern plastic gadgets.
Objects characteristic for this indulgence, were not mentioned candy and trinkets, but the wooden figurines of nodding Jews in Black. It was believed that these figures kept in the house next to the coin, will bring happiness and money to the members of the family.It’s also tradition to have a walk in the family circle, to the Kosciuszko Mound and Wolski forest. Due to the date of the indulgence, Emausowi accompanied by spraying with water. Emmaus is a big joy for children but also for adults.

Cracow Theatrical Reminiscences have been taking place since 1975. In 2003, the festival’s formula was altered, making it one of the most valued theatre festivals both in Poland and abroad. The continuous approval of our audience is very much a result of conscious and courageous artistic decisions that have been made as well as of attentive observation of what is most interesting, innovative and intriguing in theater in Poland and in the world.
Preparations for the 35th jubilee edition of Cracow Theatrical Reminiscences have already started at full speed. It will take place from the 22nd till 25th of April 2010. Save these dates in your calendar, as it will be worth visiting the festival!

Cracovia Marathon is since 2002 an annual marathon, which is accompanied by other sporting events (eg parliamentarians World Cup in the marathon, \"Mini-Marathon\") is usually in the first decade of May in Krakow. Marathon trail, whose motto is history in the background passes through the most interesting places in the city.
The main organizer of the event is the City of Krakow. Patron of sports Cracovia Marathon is now Robert Korzeniowski.
